Sports and music enthusiasts can get to Wembley Park station for the stadium/ arena in twenty minutes. You can see major sporting events such as the Eng V.Fr football match, NFL or the Saracens play. Music lovers can watch acts such as JLS, the X Factor live concert or Kate Perry. It's an easy, stress free journey.

 

It's thirty minutes to Madame Tussauds. Most of the main attractions such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, theatres, museums and art galleries are within an easy hour's journey. So are places like fashionable Bond St, Harrods and the new Westfield Shopping mall (a great mix of 275 designer/ high street labels)


 

A seven minute walk to Green lane and there are  excellent supermarket, shops, restaurants and numerous takeaways. You can walk to a recommended "Real Ale" pub that also sells good value food. We are very near the NATO base, the London School of Theology, Mount Vernon and Bishopswood hospitals. Heathrow airport is a forty minute drive.
 
 

Northwood Golf club is a  5 minute drive from Frithwood House. There are numerous parks in the locality. The Grand Union Canal and the Aquadrome, with its waterskiing, fishing, nature reserve and enjoyable lake walks, is nearby. (It has a very good café) There are local walks, horse riding, shooting and sports centres.
